3D Printed Ferret

This is a ferret I built around 2012. He was originally built low polygon and rigged in Maya, textured in Photoshop. A modified version had to be made for 3d print. The overall polycount was increased and surfaces smoothed, eyes and ears were emphasized to be more visible. Finally, the modified version was printed on a Makerbot 2 3D printer using abs plastic. The result is surprisingly light weight, durable plastic approximately 6 inches tall.

The final Sketchfab model below is the ferret broken down into Voroni cells cells via a program called Meshlab.
